Informational only. IBANtool provides IBAN validation and SWIFT/BIC lookup for general information, payment-form testing, and educational use. It is not a banking service, a payment processor, or financial advice.

No warranty. The tools and data are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind — express or implied — including accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. IBAN format rules and SWIFT/BIC data may change, and IBANtool may not reflect the latest updates.

Not a substitute for bank confirmation. A valid IBAN does not guarantee an account exists, is open, or belongs to a particular person or institution. A SWIFT/BIC code may not reflect a specific branch. Always verify receiving details with the recipient or their bank before initiating a transfer.

Limitation of liability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, IBANtool and its operators are not liable for any damages — direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential — arising from use of, or reliance on, the tools or data, including any financial loss from a misdirected or failed transfer.

Acceptable use. You agree not to misuse the site, attempt to reverse-engineer the dataset for redistribution, or use it to facilitate fraud. You may validate IBANs and look up BICs for legitimate personal, development, and business purposes.

Trademarks. “SWIFT” and “BIC” are terms used under common industry convention; IBANtool is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by SWIFT, ISO, or any bank. Bank names are the property of their respective owners.

Changes. We may update these terms or the tools at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
